Why do I want to study in the USA?

First of all, it is important to know that I have gotten to know various cultures. The Polish culture is very close to me since I have been living in Poland my whole life. I was raised in a Polish family, I went to a public school here, and I have many friends that are Polish. I started seeing cultural differences, while attending the American School by the US Embassy. There, not only did I begin to learn about my native culture, but also being in an international milieu gave me the opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world. I met friends and visited their homes to see how they managed their lives. Due to financial problems I had to quit my school. At that time, the French language fascinated me. I was able to learn French by going to the French School Rene Gościnny by the French Embassy. Being in the French environment, having new friends, meeting their families while going into their homes I have learned more about their customs and a way of life. Additionally, I spent one summer in a family in France, and the following two years I took language courses in Paris. In the French school, I decided to take Spanish classes. Subsequently, I went to Spain multiple times in order to take language courses. Classes were organized in an international environment. There I lived in a Spanish family, where I have tried their meals, met Spanish people, and deepened my knowledge of their culture. I have understood the differences in their lifestyle and thinking which brought my attention.

The USA, a country where there are many nationalities seems as a interesting place to live and learn. Because in the future I thought of engaging myself into relations between America and Europe, I would like to get to know the American way of life and the American economic approach. Also the American school system, to which I have attended suits me the most. It is a system based on high requirements, but good learning conditions at the same time.
