| My name is Kamil Szybinski. Due to providence I was born on the 30th of March 1983 in Chicago, USA. I live with my parents and my brother in a small, cozy house just outside of Warsaw. My mother works in Polish Airlines "LOT", my father is an electronic engineer and he works in telecommunication. I have got a good relationship with my brother who manages his own company and multiple web-sites, we help each other a lot. Animals such as our cat and fish enrich our household. My parents tried their best to secure me a good education. That's the reason why I have attended to schools like the American School of Warsaw (ASW) and the French School "Rene Gocinny". I speak and write fluent English, French and Polish. Also for four years I have been learning Spanish in my school. Additionally I took language courses in France and Spain. My hobbies are: discovering the world through travelling and literature, sport and informatics. My passion is discovering other cultures, meeting new and different people. I have traveled with my parents since I was a little kid, and for these last couple of years I have been travelling on my own. All this traveling was based on discount tickets from my mothers' job. From these trips I have learned how to find myself in difficult situations, how to be open to people, how to respect local customs and different cultures. I've also gained respect for the Creator and nature. Over all I've traveled through 35 countries, including Easter Islands, Hong Kong, Korea, Antarctica, Hawaii, Christmas Islands, France, China and Australia and many more. In total I've stood foot on all seven continents. For 8 years I've been practicing stunt rollerblading. Together with my brother, we were ones of the first people practicing this sport in Poland. I was the Polish junior champion in 1999, at the moment I'm in the top 5 seniors. We released the first two Polish semi-amateur rollerblading films. I've written many articles concerning the sport to various magazines, and I have also conducted a TV program on this topic. Recently I trained Capoeira for a year, an African Brazilian martial art, which teaches self-control and concentration. I work on my computer systematically. I use it to learn, to write, to communicate, and to relax. One important source is of course the Internet. Furthermore my computer serves me to set up amateur video films about rollerblading and our voyages. |
